Lute FP Quite good modern blues rock. Clearly they pay tribute to Zeppelin, but really there isn’t much in common beyond the obvious blues rock banner they both fall under. This is definitely modern rock, and the edginess is more in the ballsy but melodic female vocals, with very little rawness or grit in the overall sound. That is not meant as a critique, more to say they channel the 80s more than the 70s.

Sean Malkasian This whole EP is fantastic. They have such a unique approach to songcraft. The lyrics are fantastic as well. Love this band! Favorite track: Sex on a Grave.

Scott Spiers Bandshee is emerging from the shadows of their Blood Ceremony-infused retro style, and leaning heavily into some of the most original guitar work I've heard in years. But Romana steals the show with her ever-evolving voice.
Bandshee is on the verge of becoming one of the most original bands in the heavy underground, and Bandshee III is a huge step in that direction.

Black Cat 04:08
Well, the black cat crossed me, Waverly Lane. Well, the black cat crossed me, Waverly Lane. Well, the black crossed me, I ain't never been the same. Sleeping babies cried, the crows took flight, lightening shot up from the ground to the sky. When that black cat crossed me with it's one green eye. I was walking by the river, I saw Jesus on the bridge. I was walking by the river, I saw Jesus on the bridge. In one hand he held up a railroad tie, in the other he had food for the pigeons. He said, "That black cat cross you, girl, you don't need no religion." Well, a sinkhole opened up in the middle of Baxter Street. I said a sinkhole opened up in the middle of Baxter Street. Now the yuppies and the hippies and the hipsters and retailers are lying in a hole down at my feet. Well, that black cat cross you, you don't ask it what it means! Well I changed all of the pollen in the air to hundred dollar bills. Well I changed all of the pollen in the air to hundred dollar bills. The devil rose before me, he said, "You don't have to adore me but I need fewer people down here on pills, ahhh!" But the black cat crossed me, so I moved in for the kill! Well, the black cat crossed me, it turned the night into the day. Oh, the black cat crossed me, it turned the night into the day. Well, that black cat crossed me, now everything is going my way!

Bad Day 05:49
You started off my bad day with a bullet and a whisper through the news. You know that's a bad way to do it; all alone in the hotel room. The belly of the grand... You left me with a bad taste on my tongue and I think about you every day. I can't pretend that we're still young and I hate it; I don't wanna age this way. It's a bad time to be left behind C'mon, Satellite, can you make it right? It's a bad night for the saturnine. It's a bad time to be left alive... Think about the last night on the wire, you were tired. And now I'm feeling tired, too. It's the kinda move you can't make twice Into the belly of the grave. It's in the moves you make that later will become the signs that we missed. It's in the time it takes to glide across the tiles.... It's in the rhythm of your sighs. It's a bad time to be left behind C'mon, Satellite, can you make it right? It's a bad night for the saturnine. It's a bad time to be left alive...
